The "drool-worthy" pretty much applies to the shoes rather than the closet itself. You'll see below. (please scroll back up to see this thing I'm typing now, since I'm quite sure you'll all want to see the shoes first! haha)
Anyway, this room is really pretty as it is. The only problem is the lack of storage, especially for a girl who has a lot of stuff. And by stuff, I mean shoes, magazine, accessories -all those sort of unnecessary things that we ladies want to collect. Haha
Here's the wall where the shoe closet was installed.
The yellow cabinet, and the vanity will be moved to the other wall which has ceiling-height curtains. So there's no way I can hang or lean the mirror against the wall.
So a custom mirror was made to affixed to the vanity table to make it look like one unit, with matching hollywood-ish mirror bulbs! Repainted the whole thing a soft taupy gray color.
On to the shoe closet, the star of this post. Here's a close-up of the wallpaper we installed on the back of the shelves, which you can not see on the closet pictures below 'coz of the lighting. But I think it took this closet a notch higher in the glamour scale.
Here's the closet with the back lights turned off.
And here it is with the lights on!
Do I have to remind you at this point that you are not reading a fashion blog?
:)

My head is spinning. I was impressed with the vanity, and then got bowled over by the shoe closet. All I can think to say is Gimme Gimme Gimme!
this has got to be Laureen Uy's shoe closet. definitely.
That looks like heaven to me!

How much would something like this cost? It's stunning and so classy, I fell in love (like I did with most of your other projects). Also the gallery wall. Thank you!!
