Your bathroom counter has 47 products on it and you use 5 of them daily. This plan gets the other 42 out of sight and makes the counter look like a boutique hotel.
Budget: $75. Time: 45 minutes.

**Step 1: The purge**
Take everything off the counter. Sort into: daily use (max 5 items), weekly use, and "why do I have this." Toss or donate the third pile.
**Step 2: Contain the daily 5**
Place the Threshold apothecary canister set on the counter. Cotton rounds in one, Q-tips in another, hair ties in the small one. Your daily 5 items get the counter. Everything else is hidden.
**Step 3: Hair tool storage**
Hang the mDesign over-door organizer on the vanity cabinet door. Hair dryer, straightener, curling iron — all off the counter, cords contained.
**Step 4: Shower products**
Mount the FECA suction caddy in the shower. Only the products you use this week go in. Backstock goes under the sink.
**Step 5: The one decorative item**
Place one candle (Capri Blue Volcano) or small plant on the counter. One. Not three.
Pro Tips
- The 5-item counter rule sounds extreme until you try it. After a week you won't go back.
- Suction cups work best on smooth, clean tile. Wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol before mounting.
- If your vanity door is too thick for the over-door organizer, it also mounts with Command strips.
